Compact design with good value for money. The DJ-KF series is a digital multifunctional scale with a very sensitive strain gauge load cell.
The versions differ as follows:
DJ20KA & DJ40KA: Scales with either 20kg or 40kg capacity. Weight determination in 1g steps (minimum weight of both models: 10g).
DJ20KB: The scale measures up to 20kg and has a fine measuring range: Between 1g and 3000g, the weight is determined in very precise 0.1g steps, only above 3kg is the weight displayed in 1g steps. The scales are perfect if you also want to weigh smaller objects. (Minimum weight of both models: 1g)
Functions: TARE (adding / setting container to 0) and weight determination as grams (g), kilograms (kg) or pounds (lb). The scales are deliberately kept very plain and simple in order to concentrate on the essentials, weighing! Power supply: You can either operate the scale with 4 * AA batteries or with a power supply unit (included). Design: Robust & reliable LED display, height-adjustable feet, removable stainless steel surface, insensitive keyboard
Settings menu: The scale will turn off after 15 minutes in battery operation, if you want to. If not, simply increase the time to up to 60 minutes or deactivate the automatic switch-off function completely so that it never switches off during weighing. If the default settings (average values) are not enough for you, you can also change other things such as the sensitivity or vibration filter completely in order to adapt your balance perfectly to your application.
Scope of delivery: Scales in the selected function, instructions in German and English, power supply unit, batteries.
Difference to the KF model series:
In contrast to our KF kitchen scales, the measuring sensor installed here goes up to 20kg or up to 40kg. The DJ20KB even works up to 3000g in 0.1g steps.
Otherwise, you model series are identical in construction and operation.
Application example of the DJ20KB with fine measuring range:
If, for example, you weigh the ingredients in your recipe when using it as a kitchen scale, you can first set up a bowl or mixing bowl and then use the TARE function to set the display to "0".
Now start adding light ingredients like salt, spices or yeast. The scales can determine this weight with the very fine 0.1g readability up to a maximum of 3000g.
Finally, fill the coarse ingredients such as flour or water into your container and the scales will determine this up to a total of 20 kilograms in 1g steps.
