Design: The 30 x 30 cm surface of the A8 consists of several layers of high-quality, solid bamboo wood. The natural grain makes each scale unique and a modern design piece in your home, whether in the bathroom or in any other room.

Thanks to the practical comfort switch-on function, no prior tapping or waiting is required. As soon as you step on the scale, it is activated and immediately begins to determine the weight.
Technology: The measuring system with 4 high-quality weight sensors is installed under the robust platform. In the entire measuring range between 5kg and 180kg, these work with fine 0.1kg steps. The unit of weight can be changed from kilograms (kg) to pounds (lb) with just one button.

The A5 requires a hard surface such as parquet or tiles.
On hard surfaces, your weight is evenly distributed on the weighing surface in the 4 precise sensors located directly in the feet of the scales. Your weight is calculated in increments of 0.1 kg.
The sensors will not work properly on pliable / soft floors such as PVC or soft laminate. Here the sensors are loaded unevenly. The scale cannot determine the correct weight. With every measurement there are fluctuations of 10kg.
On carpeted floors, the carpet touches the back of the scale. Your weight is not completely entered into the scale sensors. This causes the sensors to think you are lighter than you actually are. A 60kg person is weighed at 30kg on a soft carpet!
Please only buy the A model bathroom scale if you are sure there is a tiled bathroom, otherwise you will not be satisfied with the scale. Only with the PSE does it not matter where you weigh yourself, e.g. in the bathroom or outside in the garden on lawn. The underground does not play a role in determining the weight.
