Note: These scales are delivered with a sturdy plastic weighing surface, sufficient for normal use. Can be ordered for very high requirements to protect against wear or for easier cleaning.
Bench scales of the PLC series: PLC15, PLC30 (Note: All PLC scales already come with a stainless steel weighing surface)
Bench scales of the E-KY series: E3KY, E6KY, E15KY, E30KY (Note: All E-KY scales already come with a stainless steel weighing surface)
The weighing surface is made of stainless steel (1.4301 / AISI 304), suitable for direct contact with food.

However, for use in the catering or food industry, we recommend an IP67 protected waterproof scale.
If used in large kitchens where experience has shown that humidity is often high and for easy cleaning, this would be the better choice in the long term.
