Bench scale E
The E series is a compact balance designed for daily use in the laboratory, workshop or office.
Once switched on using the classic toggle switch, the scale is designed to be used for a long time. There is no automatic switch-off. The scales have a base made of one piece of cast aluminum (painted gray in the picture), the upper shell made of insensitive ABS plastic.
Depending on the selected capacity, the scale has a round weighing surface with 122mm (all scales with 1200g or less capacity) or a 170 * 195mm weighing surface. In both cases, of course, made of stainless steel and removable.
Measuring range:
The balance is available in two versions, the "Basic" and the normal versions.
The basic models have a significantly lower price and are available in versions with up to 6000 readability steps, e.g. up to 6kg with 1g steps or 600g with 0.1g.
If greater accuracy is required, the scales are also available in models with e.g. 6kg and 0.1g increments or 600g / 0.01g available. These versions also have an adjustment vial and are supplied with a plastic draft shield with readability of 0.01 g or finer.

Differentiation between the E and EY series
The E series corresponds to the EY series in terms of size and measurement technology (load cell and evaluation electronics are identical), as well as the price.
In practical everyday life, the scales have proven to be more reliable thanks to the robust metal base and, in particular, the easy-to-read as well as insensitive and durable LED display. If you do not need the EY battery compartment for your use because the scale is operated stationary at a location with a mains connection, we recommend a scale from this series.
If you plan a mobile usage of your scale, EY would be the better option.
