Operation:
Start the scale.
Place the weight on the scale and read the weight it in the display
Tare the display if necessary.
If used till the sun goes down: Turn on the Display backlight
If the scale ever gets out of adjustment, it can be adjusted (CAL).
Recommended use for:
Daily use in dry environment conditions, also for large quantities.
The load cell is designed for 1,000,000 measurements.
The TY is designed for a mobile use, but can also be used mobile. It comes with an external main power supply adaptor (230V -> 6V).
Batteries:
4 * C batteries (also called "baby" battery in Germany. They look like AA, but are thicker).
Why not normal AA? Wherever you can buy AA batteries, you can also buy type C. They cost a little more, but have a much larger capacity (example of manufacturer specifications for the same brand, AA: 2930mAh, C: 7800 mAh).
Due to this battery changes and the disruptions during your work process occure are much rarer. The battery level indicator reminds you in good time to insert new ones.
Difference models T and T-Y:
For an stationary use with always a power line near the scale, the T offers the same weighing result but with an even more sturdy metal bottom case.
The LED Display in the T would be more hit resistant, but especially if you reactivate the Displays backlight, the LCD in the TY uses a lot less energy and enables a longer battery live. Also, in very bright environment conditions (especially outside in direct sunlight) you still can perfecly read the LCD of the TY, while the display in the T can not be seen when the environment is brighter than the LEDs itself.
