The JJ-BFD series is based on the JJ-BF analytical balance and uses the identical measuring system.
In addition, this series has been equipped with a touch control panel and extended intelligent control.
The computer in the balance allows many tasks beyond weighing, such as percentage calculation in a specific ratio and a menu with many setting options for optimal adaptation to your application with simple and understandable operation.

All scales in the JJ-BFD series are equipped with an internal adjustment mechanism.
An automatic adjustment is triggered if the temperature changes by > 1.5 °C or after 3 hours at the latest.
Simplified explanation: A motor is used to hang a reference weight built into the scale under the weighing surface, the scale adjusts itself correctly using this reference mass, then the weight is removed again.
Compared to scales with external adjustment, this makes handling much easier while ensuring reliable measured values at all times.

But on top of this, the scale has several additional features:

	Save measurement results with time & date stamp and print later or transfer to PC (Max. 20 results possible)
	Counting: With reference numbers 1, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 or 1000 pieces
	Animal weighing: An averaging measurement of 10 seconds, small movements of an animal on the scale are even out. Can also be used for other measurements such as liquid sloshing around or in very poor environmental conditions.
	Measuring Density: Both the density of solid materials in liquid and the density of the liquid itself can be determined by volume. Note: The separately available density determination set is required.

The menu is also operated via the touchscreen, instead of the button combination and incomprehensible number/letter codes of the JJ-BF, which can only be understood using the manual:

Made entirely of metal (aluminum alloy). Base painted dark gray, top shell painted light gray.
Is aligned horizontally by means of the two rear feet. There is only a single foot at the front, which automatically keeps the scales stable (3-point support)
Large, permanently mounted draft shield with glass panes, can be slid sideways and upwards. The inside of the draft shield is lined with stainless steel.

Automatic internal adjustment
The automatic adjustment mechanism of the JJ-BFD is time- and temperature-controlled.
If the scale detects a change in the ambient temperature of more than 1.5 °C or after 3 hours at the latest, the adjustment is triggered automatically. You can stop your current measurement process. Adjustment only starts when the scale is at “0”.
You will see the message “CAL” on the display for approx. 30 seconds and then the scale is ready for use again.
Alternatively, you can also start the automatic calibration immediately by pressing a key or deactivate the automatic control and also calibrate the scale with external test weights.
