The battery can be used as a spare part when the life of the built-in battery is exhausted.
Note: The service life of a lead battery depends on the number of deep discharges. If the battery is always completely emptied until the scale switches itself off due to insufficient voltage (depending on the model and setting of e.g. the background lighting after 24 to 100 operating hours) or if the scale has been stored for a long time with an already deeply discharged battery and has not been charged beforehand Experience has shown that the battery has an overall shorter lifespan than a battery that, for example, is fully charged every evening after only a few hours of operation.
Even when storing for a longer period of time, we recommend that the balance be fully charged every 3 months to prevent damage from deep discharge.

If you cannot install the battery yourself, it is possible to send us your balance. We charge 15 € working time * (including VAT) for all of the above models.
* Deviating hardship cases, for example scales that cannot be opened due to a housing stuck together with paint and must first be cleaned.
