Differences between YY and YY-Y:
The JJ and JJ-Y have identical measurement technology, so there is no difference in the reliability of the results between the two scales. The JJ-Y has a lighter plastic housing and is better suited for mobile use.
However, we only recommend this version if mobile use is actually planned and the battery compartment is absolutely necessary.
If the scale is used stationary and there is a 230V power connection nearby, we recommend YY. Experience has shown that this series achieves even longer service lives (secured circuit and robust metal housing).
