Version overview:
The series of electronic scales KF is a multifunctional bench scale, designed for the occasional use of demanding private users and yet based on the know-how and technology of our professional models and the best possible price-performance ratio achieved as a result.
KF-6000A
Thanks to the multi-range technology of the strain gauge sensor that we have installed in this model, the scale can work in very fine 0.1g steps in the range where it matters, while at the same time a total capacity of 6kg is available.
A small application example what that means exactly:
For example, if you weigh the ingredients in your recipes when using it as a kitchen scale, you can first set a bowl or mixing bowl with the TARE function to "0". Now start adding light ingredients such as salt, spices or yeast and the scales can determine this weight very precisely with the very fine 0.1g readability up to 600g.
Now fill in additional ingredients that the scales will show you in 0.2g increments until you reach 1200g and in 0.5g increments until you reach 3000g. Finally, fill the coarse ingredients such as flour or water into your container and the scales will determine this up to a total of 6 kilograms in 1g steps.
KF-3000
In this version we decided to install a strain gauge sensor that works continuously up to 3000g in 0.1g steps.
This is helpful if you primarily need the scales to process small quantities and there is no need for the 6kg capacity.
KF-501A
A precision balance up to 500g.
This version is a better alternative to the small pocket scales, which often only have a tiny load cell and turn off by themselves after a few seconds.
KF10K
In the KF10K version, the scale has the largest measuring range up to 10kg with 1g readability. No fine measuring range, but the largest capacity.
So you have 10 to 100 times more accurate measurement results on these scales than with conventional household scales that only work in 1g steps.
Other precision scales can also measure in 0.1g steps, but then have losses in terms of the maximum measuring range because often only a few 100g are covered.
We could also offer you scales that work up to 10, 20 or 30 kg in very fine 0.1 g increments, but these professional models are in a higher price range.
With the KF series, G&G offers you the best of all three variants in a compact and reliable device, at a first-class price-performance.
Power supply:
The scale offers the option to switch off after 15 minutes in battery operation.
Unlike most household scales, the KF models do not switch off after just a few minutes. If the 15 minutes switch-off time is not enough for you, you can extend the time to up to 60 minutes - or keep the scales permanently active.
This is also the standard function in mains operation, the scale remains switched on until you decide something else and is therefore immediately ready for the next use.
Nevertheless, the KF balance is of course designed to be as energy-saving as possible. As soon as the display jumps to "0" and the scale is not used, the energy-saving mode is activated and the background lighting of the display is also switched off. The balance's consumption now drops to only approx. 0.3 W. As soon as you place something on the weighing surface, the balance is activated again and shows you the result in the illuminated display.
Batteries and the power supply unit are included in the scope of delivery.
Functions:
Additional weighing function: To tare the balance, for example after you have set up an empty pan and now want to measure the content, all you need to do is press TARE. The scale jumps back to "0" and you can add the ingredient. Of course, this additional weighing works as often as you like (provided the total weight, such as bowl and contents, is within the capacity of the scales) and also in the negative range.
This is useful if you want to take 100g from a pack, for example. Simply place the full pack on the scales, briefly tap on TARE and it jumps to "0". Now you can remove the required amount and the scales will show you the weight you have removed.
Weighing units: You can use the UNIT key to switch the weighing units between grams (g), kilograms (kg) and ounces (oz). The balance then automatically converts accordingly.
Counting function: Simply place 1, 10, 20, 50 or 100 pieces of a known reference number on the scale and activate the function using the PCS button. Based on the piece weight, the scale then automatically calculates the correct number if you add or remove more pieces. This is particularly helpful when quickly capturing small parts.
Appliclation examples
The balance is therefore ideally suited for all applications that require a very fine result and a large measuring range. Regardless of whether you intend to mix small amounts of pigments with colors, create your own cosmetics with high-quality oils or, as a barista, need water and coffee powder in the correct proportions for perfect espresso enjoyment.
