Design: The scale consists of a stainless steel platform with 27.5cm * 27.5cm. There are 4 precise strain gauge sensors with multi-range technology under the 27,5cm * 27,5cm stainless steel platform. At small weights, the result is determined twice as fine as in the upper area (example DJ100SA: In 0.01kg steps up to 10kg, then in 20g steps up to 100kg).
The display is connected to the platform with a 1.5 meter long spiral cable, using a stable screw connection on the plug. Unlike 90% of the platform scales, the display does not consist of a break-sensitive LCD display but of self-illuminating LED digits. This type of display has proven to be much more durable, especially in rough use when there is a risk that the display might drop or something will fall on the display.
Functions: Tare, counting function (reference numbers 1, 10, 20, 50 or 100)
Energy supply: The AC/DC adapter is already included in the scope of delivery. Alternatively, 4 * 1.5V AA batteries can be used, well suited for mobile use.
Settings: You can change the automatic switch-off time ("always on", 15, 30, 45 or 60 min), the vibration filter, the sensitivity, the illuminance in the display and the weight unit (kg, lb).
Bluetooth Data Interface:
You can wirelessly control the scale and transfer the measured values ??via the Bluetooth interface. You will find numerous apps for mobile devices as well as for computers that work regardless of the manufacturer. In contrast to models from the competition, you are therefore not tied to the functions offered by the manufacturer app.
By this way you can use the DJ-SA as a bathroom scale and check your weight history with an app on your Android cell phone, use it as a parcel scale and pair it with the PC to transfer parcel weights easily and correctly to a shipment system or to shipping programs of parcel services, indipendend if connected to a 25 year old computer on which Win95 or a new Laptop with Win10 *. Also a connection to tiny computers like an Arduiono or Rasperry with Linux is possible.
With one exception: SPP (The protocol by which the scale communicates with other devices) was deacivated in iOS. Thats why THERE IS NO COMPABILITY TO iPHONE and other Apple-Devices!
